the t25 is very very small...and it wont support an h22a's top end flow. the t3/t04b or e however would be a very good turbo to use for that setup....

and yes, everything else should work except that manifold for that swap....you will have to tap the new h22's oil pan too
T25 and GT25 are NOT the same turbo. the GT25 will support whatever the needs of most H22's.

hmmm edit. reread and he said T25 at the top. T25 is on the small side for an H22. but it will make 100 hp over stock H22.

everyone is also forgetting about the 60-1 which is a T04B 7 blade compressor wheel. its bigger than any T04e 6 blade wheel. flows nearly 5-10lbs/min more than a 60 trim T04e.

Greaser... were not being narrow minding, we see waht works and go with it.. a turbo isnt something you should guess and try because that will be a pain in the ass and cost quite a bit... not saying there arnt more.. but the t04e 50 has a HUGE, not just HUGE but MASSIVE sweet spot.. and works very well with 2.3 engines... not that this engine is the exact same but well its close

LOL!

I am an all-motor man...but I want to build a boosted B16 this winter too.

That, and "SI" is boosting his car, so I'd like to know more about it.

again maps arent everything. on the same car, a 60-1 makes more power and more torque earlier in the band.

actually a turbo is something you should guess with and trial and error. same thing with suspension and alignment settings. in my past i thought way too much about math and too little about trying out stuff.

i agree if u want good power band and every thing build the motor first and get some flow numbers of the motor then match the turbo to the application... this may not give u as much hp but it willl give a good power band....

am i correct greaser?

well atleast this is my theory to build a good motor for circuit coarses
