hmmm edit. reread and he said T25 at the top. T25 is on the small side for an H22. but it will make 100 hp over stock H22.
the t25 would yeah, make power on an h22....but it is probably going to choke the motor at the higher RPM's....hondas like to flow a lot of air at a lower boost...just because the motors cant take the heat since they werent built for it....he would be far better off w/ the larger turbo

i think an t04e-50 would be a great starting point.. i know how much you hate compressor maps, but it does help with the "guessing" and "trial and error" department, or at least a starting point of what to expect out of it.

wasn't being closed-minded - but it is a smaller turbo with a larger efficiency spot - even though this means nothing to you since you don't trust compressor maps.. which is understandable

remember i use a 50trim in the white car

the trim is the calculation of exducer and inducer diameters, you neednt be concerned with it at your level of motorsports. my opinion only.

Fmax offers to4b (at least in nissan kits) unless you specify otherwise.

count the blades..........

7 blades=T04B series
6 blades=T04E series
6 blades=Garret GT series

oh and a good starting point for a H22 is any T04e series turbo. if you want higher power T04b 60-1 and the most power, well T61 or any GT40 wheels with T3 turbines.

its really a mute point to theorize spool, power, and type of powerband. i just splurt answers out now, i used to sit for days with maps, calculators and a window to stare out of as i went crazy never finding answers with equations.

from what i have seen, fmax kits for hondas are junk......i run a t3/to4e. 57 trim and my turbo just wants to keep on going, it does hit full boost a little late compared to my previous 50 trim t3/to4b but its well worth it, cause damn it hits hard when boost comes full on.....
