if you didn't notice a smell to the fluid, chances are it isn't burnt. I burned up my transmission for an 87 chevy sprint and the people in the next bay could smell it.

flush, drain, fill, whatever you do DON'T FORGET TO CHANGE YOUR FILTER!

that will be a good indication if your tranny is fucked up anyway- drop the bottom pan for your tranny and check the filter, hold it up to the light. If you can see through it, cool. If not, well, start making plans for a new tranny.

You can drain an auto, it just pointless if it needs a rebuild anyway.

also, where's the dipstick on a manual transmission? i want to see if my oil looks that color.
My car doest have a dip stick. I just change it every 60,000 or so( every other diff oil change) on my car. But I'm kinda anal with my car so I think 80-100K is normal.

you change your oil every 30,000 miles i hope thats a typo

Well with my oil cooler and not driving lond distances it lasts longer. At least when I change it everythinglooks fine.

your crazy i thought u said ur anal. changing your oil every 30,000 miles is sacriligeous. remember this saying, every 3000 miles OR 3 MONTHS. but hey its not my car. i change my oil whenever im bored. which is allot. its had two oil changes in three months. i havent started it in 4.
