Well today i was driving down the road, and i was gettin on it, got into VTEC and all the sudden the tranny would not go into gear, well it finally did....Now it takes like the ungoldly strength of man to get it to go into gear, now it stays in gear when its in, no grinds or nothing....


I thought it would be the clutch fluid (which was dark brown btw) I flushed it and bleeded the clyinder, still does it...

Any suggestions, quick cause im gonna sell my car real cheap if i dont figure out what it is...

 

bad synchro is my guess... maybe broken shift fork or something... got any friends that know trannies? doesn't sound too bad if you can get it out and worked on cheap

 

sounds like shift fork...synchros would grind...

 

yeah, im gonna go w/ shift fork or TO bearing maybe...

 

How hard is it to get the shift fork out and replace it...i know you gotta drop the tranny...
