Towing a car questions everyone
I am moving next month and i am towing my teg with a carrier, basically the whole car would be up in the air, my questions is whats the difference between reversing it to the carrier and driving it forward.Bec the lady at penske was saying simething about a lowered car has to have at least 7'' of clearance to clear the metal stoppers that makes the contact with the front tires to prevent it from moving back and forth.

Re: Towing a car questions everyone
nothing at alll if the car is on a trailer might save gas if it was in frontwards a little more areodynamic but other than that .. now wheel dolley are diff and does matter which way you load depends if the car is fwd or rwd . she just implying you need 7in cleareance for the stopper to work . just dont use them and chain that car down or use heavy duty straps to . but when i loaded mines on the trailer i had to load it ass first due to front end being to low and was hittin on trailer but many ways to avoid that just to lazy at the time . like jack the front of the trailer higher . use longer running boards etc... you get the point any more question just ask .
