True, except you need something with a lower flashpoint. It needs to "explode" the tire onto the rim. Lighter fluid will more than likely just burn.

lulz @ calling that a stretch. I'm running a 225/40 on an 18x10.

Should be simple, maybe you're doing it wrong...

I think some sort of combustible aerosol would be better. Lighter fluid was the first thing that came to mind .

that my set up. 245r 215f on a 17x10.

You dont need a cheata to do this. You just need someone that has done a few of them before. A 245 shouldnt need anything to mount them. If you are having problems you can bring it by my me. I done a few.

What I do:

1. set lower bead
2. take off shader valve and attach constant very low psi air.
3. get starter fluid on the upper bead. Make sure its all around
4. spray a little more starting fuild in the rim.
5. Use a long lighter.

AND BOOM. The tire should seat on rim.

PS> DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK>>>>>IM NOT LIABLE IF YOU BLOW YOURSELF UPOR DAMAGE ANY PROPERTY>>>

Not to spoil your fun or whatever, but I think the tires are trying to tell you something. I think the words "retarded" and "fad" are in there somewhere.
