i know my timing is supposed to be 16 degrees but what does that look like exactly cuz mines doesnt have the mark on it, i hadd mimes all the way advanced and i know that my stock ecu retards it automatically when its over, so where should i guesstimate putting it with out a timing light?

you dont need a timing light on a D series motor. as long as you are running 93 octane, you cant advance the dizzy too far. mine is advanced as far as it can be w/out notching out the slots anymore, no sign of pinging or anything.

oh my god....some people....I swear dont need to give advice.

Get a timing light....set it to factory settings...you will see marks on the crank pulley to set it up with and you can advance from there....if you have no major mods timing should be perfect at factory setting maybe slightly advanced but not all to the extreme.

Some people dont relize that not all factory settings need to be played with.
