Throttle rotor
Anyone heard about the Weapon-R throttle rotor? It goes over your O.E.M. throttle rotor and is said to increase throttle response due to the smaller diameter of the rotor. Does anyone know if this thing works?

Re: Throttle rotor
The throttle rotor is where the throttle cable is connected to the throttle body. It sounds kind of out the 2 me 2 but i was just wondering any one had heard anything about it. Its on the weapon-r web site

Re: Throttle rotor
oh, it's just a bigger piece for your throttle cable to connect to, so that it takes less gas pedal movement to get the car to WOT. that's pointless, how long does it take you to stomp the pedal to the floor? is an extra 1/10 of a second going to make a difference lol

Re: Throttle rotor
Throttle rotor is made to increase throttle response from the pedal to the butterfly, its somewhat of a good idea since the main way to gain any repsonse from the throttle is to tighten the throttle cable but then again you can only tighten the cable so much, so this piece makes up for the difference. Its a show piece also from the looks of it.

And if it were pointless they would have never made it.

Re: Throttle rotor
dont waste money on that, that makes no sense wtfe. If you have ever raced, well i would be tached up at the proper rpm and ready to dump the clutch. so this would be point less.
