Hey, sorry if I don't know how to take out a driveshaft, it's not like it's the easiest thing ever, like changing your oil. Instead of insulting me why don't you tell me how what to do to so the nut will be spinable when loosened.

if by driveshaft you mean CV AXLES...you know, the axles that go from your tranny into your hub...then you loosen the 32mm nut with your car on the ground, and with no tranny on the car you should just be able to take that nut off and the axle will pull right out of the hub. make sure to grease the end that goes into the wheel bearing before you put the new one in...and you will not be able to just stick the new (or old axles if you are reusing them) in w/out pulling your suspension apart...

Have you taken off the ball joint yet? Those usually spin and soimeone will need to wedge it for you or you will need to impact it out usually. The axle nut usually doesnt give you any problems but it is on pretty tight. Someone can stand on the brakes while you brake the axle nut loose.

okay im really confused! DRiveshaft on a honda civic...okay..... i think you mean a CV AXle or a halfshaft. A drive shaft is a rwd car. to take a Cv axle out of a civic remove the axle nut off at the center of the brake rotot. you also have to remove the strut assemlbly support so you can remove the axle out.
