Default Who makes driveshafts around town?

I need a custom driveshaft made for an upcomming project. Nothing too fancy, just a steel balanced drive shaft. I have both yoke ends, needed to be welded to a specific legnth. Anyways, I've got a place i've used before in Lynchburg but, I'd like to find a local place?

Any suggestions?

There's a place down on Commonwealth... down 95.. They have a few race cars with their Driveshafts.. can't remember the name of the place off the top of my head.. but they are supposed to be very good driveshafts.

www.pstds.com

Send them your specs. Don't get steel. Carbon is much better.

$500-900...not quite as expensive as I thought it would be for a carbon shaft.

theres a ghetto looking shop in mechanicsville just up the hill past the windmill thing on the corner on the left, they did one for a 4X4 truck i had and did a nice job. was only like 125 bucks. i think they sourced it out i cant rember the details but the quality was excellent. it was a 2 pc telescoping driveshaft i had thrashed, they made a replacement for the half i killed.
