Unhappy swap trouble

I just swapped a 90 si motor into my 88 dx hatch....I wired everything up, but my ECU is flashing 20 times...the book says its an electric load. What does that mean? I NEED HELP!!!

not sure about that, but did u change from dpfi to mpfi?

yea it was dpfi and now its mpfi....u have any idea what that means?

electric load detecter is in your alternator Check the wiring and if that seems ok try replacing the alt.

thanks. now all i have to do is drill out the bolt that is holding on the alternator and then ill be able to change it
