okay i just bought that crx with a ls turbo... i dont' know if yall seen it or heard about it but i'm trying to just get the motor out and put a b16 in it and ecu what not. i need to know what kind of ecu (if there is a difference) and what modifications do i need. just taking out the ls and putting a b16a1. i got a b16 tranny on it and i'm keeping it on there. any shift linkage problems or what. just need some help

 

why would you want to get rid of the ls/turbo in the crx???

now if youre trying to put a b16 turbo in, thats cool i guess, but to drop back to n/a? come on man, keep the forced induction!

 

why would you go for something slower? I mean ls/turbo crix is gonna be faster than a b16/turbo crix...bet on that.

 

i believe hes talking about he just bought joeys old car. in which case the motor needs rebuilt and the turbo was a cheap custom kit with a shitty turbo with enough power to push maybe 2psi.

 

ahahhahaahhahahah...........well then that explains it.....get the b16 then. Ecu for the b16A....a P28 or P30 will do....cuz i just had that done...good luck.

 

all you need is the ecu....if the car is still obd0 which im guessing it is....you need a pr3 or a pw0 ecu

 

oh, and you gotta wire up the vtec, vtec pressure switch, and the knock sensor, and a 2nd o2 sensor or just tap into your current o2

 

who can do that for me haha.....i just need a price on the motor and ecu and the wiring hookup and also the installation.
