Yes, I realize this is a stupid question... My keyless entry doesn't work, and I already tried replacing the battery. Any ideas?

Yeah, break in your car. Nah man, you prolly got a short somewhere or have to reprogram something. Other than that, i dunno. Then again, I dunno shit about keyless entry

I mean I have a key to get into the car... I just wanted my keyless entry to work Chick's are petty like that... haha

does it by chance have an aftermarket stereo? alot of the honda keyless entry systems run through the factory radio. there are a few things to check on the system, but depending on the year, it depends on the diag procedure.

yeah it does... but its the same deck I had in my last civic and the keyless entry worked just fine

If you have a light on the remote, does it light up? I'm guessing on a broken solder joint inside if you have dropped it before.

I don't think it lights up, but I'll double check... I haven't dropped it, but the previous owner might have... any way to fix it? I guess I should just go ahead and install my alarm anyways
