Default Which struts?

My buddy has a 99 Civic SI, and it's lowered on a set of Tein springs. They are on the stock struts, and of course it didn't last long. He is looking for some aftermarket struts, that can handle a 2" drop. I read that Koni Yellow's are only good for 1.25-1.5" drop. Any suggestions, other than full coilovers?

Why would Koni Yellows only be good for a 1.2-1.5 inch drop? They are best with Ground Controls, which give you up to a 4 inch drop.

Koni Yellows FTW. Fucka KYB, Fucka Tokico.

Other than Tokico...maybe Bilstein.

I just read somewhere that Koni's were only good upto a 1.5 drop. I'm not sure how true it was, which was the point of making this thread.

Thanks for your input.

I highly doubt they would recommend one of the best setups with the Koni's is Ground Controls, and they not be able to handle whatever the GC's could throw at them.
