Default Stripped head bolt stud

Just broke the threads in my B20 block in the new all motor setup on the last 72 lb torque spec. while putting the head on with the golden eagle headbolt kit. I wanted to cry but am getting over it. Need to know what's better time serts or helicoil kit. Looking at either and which is easier to do myself. Any help is appreciated.

how far down is the bolt broken off.

that's a pretty shitty situation.

72 ft-lb is what spec? b20 or golden eagle? it seems a bit high

Jim, contact Dameon. He has a $400 tool that he had to buy to fix his block, and he's really wanting to get his money's worth out of the damn thing.

Well, maybe Dameon will ship it to him, lol

Dameon sent a block to be sleeved be GE last year, a diff. block came back with two f'd up threads in the block, so he had to buy, I believe, I time sert set. Anyway, he spent a shit load of money for this thing and he wants to use it as much as possible.
