He is not pulling his block just so it can get o-rined. If that was the case, yes, do not do it! He would have to be out of his mind to pull a block just for an o-ring. But, he is having it sleeved and most companies do it for free when sleeving. Why not! It does help.

yea, im getting it sleaved and its free...they gave me a choice...judging off the posts here ima get it o-ringed...

i gotta get my block back from sutton (he stripped it for me)...then i can send it off...ill posts pics when its complete...thanks for all the help everyone....

Oh...P.S....
The sleeves are getting done by a David Benson (i think davids his name)...he'll sleeve any block and he uses sleeves made especially for him by Darton. If you send him a stripped block, he'll sleeve it, bore it, and oring/step deck it for you...for $950+$50 return shipping. this is a great deal, terry (boostfed) showed it to me..so im spreadin tthe word...for a lot of info on the process he uses to sleave it...go to www.honda-tech.com and search for posts made by "Earl"...you'll know it when you see the title of the post.

I wouldnt do either unless the motor needed it to solve a problem. I've seen oringed blocks cause more sealing problems.....

i've seen more aftermarket stuff thats supposed to make a block handle more power, actually cause problems.
