Default Starting issues

1995 Acura Integra B20 swap with B16 tranny. Ok, last week I took out the tranny (had a seal leak). The only sensors that needed to be unplugged were the speed sensor and the other sensor on the right side of the tranny. The battery was removed, and of course the starter was. Everything was put back together, all ground checked, and bolts torqued according to alldata. Tried to start the car it makes a high pitched whining sound. I changed the starter (had an extra one) to just start diagnoses. I can tell the starter is trying to turn over. I can push start the car, but of course will not start on its own. I am having a hard time believing 2 starters are bad. Any suggestions of what is going on would def. help.
