Default SSac Turbomanni question...

I ordered a 'ssautochrome D series turbo manifold' off of ebay.


theres what it looks like, anyways ive heard from a reliable source that these are prone to cracking... has anyone else heard this? if this is true is there anything i can do to stregnthen the welds? thanks for the help...

most tubular manifolds are prone to cracking unless you pay bank for awesome materials.

thanks dude... thermafi'd16 said that If we welded some brackets up, that it would help...any other recomendations? thanks mr. 2 for the input...

you can make brackets that will help to support the weight. thats not a perfect cure, but it can help. ive knoticed that most people that get the cheap ebay manifolds get a few so that when they crack one they just swap it out. kinda like the rotary guys and their engines.

that's a good price. I know a guy who makes the turbo manifolds for SS autochrome and he said the newer ones were made better (at least the nissan ones...)
