I'm sure the JWT ECU will work great; that's why I ordered one. My point was simply that if you want to maximize the ECU's settings for YOUR vehicle, you actually have to dyno tune it. I'm sure Jim Wolf would do it, but they'll need your car and more money. An AFR or FPR is a good idea. He's right that he will not "need" a piggy back, but if he wants optimal settings or the ability to make adjustments he will need a piggy back at the very least. Just want him to realize that Jim Wolf - #1 does not generally make customer-specific ECU's, although they do their best to make it sound sweet when you talk to them; and #2 in order for them to make your ECU specific to YOUR car, they will need YOUR car.
JWT have been programming Cobra mafs to use in their set ups for awhile now. It also is not limited to only 350 hp. You would have to set your fuel pressure to 4bar, and JWT programs the injectors to the extra fuel, and the Cobra MAF can read more with a subtractor program (they manipulate the readings from the maf). This is a common set up with FWD Sr20dets.
With the Z32 MAF or even a Q45 MAF the power potential is alot more than the Cobra though.
JWTs ecus are known for running a bit rich, that is why 98sr20ve (Steve) recommended playing with the fuel pressue.
If probe gt does not plan on making any HP records, he would be ok with just the JWT ECU.

i think your setup is nice....only thing i would do is get rid of the cat, youll like the power difference. I would also stay with the 3bar fuel program no matter what maf you use. if i remember correctly the 3bar w/72 lb injectors made more power than 4bar w/50 lb injectors.
thanks for all the info guys, true i'm not trying to make any HP records, so yeah i'm trying to make it so i don't have to clutter the interior w/ too many gadgets (not that they look stupid or anything) but i like the idea of having a pretty powerful engine and not having to constantly monitor gauges and controllers, ya feel me? i want it to be like a stock engine...change oil here, basic maintinance there...but still be able to scare the pants out of anyone in or out of the car, as for the cat i'm gonna listen to u guys and get the Heavy Throttle test pipe, it's only like $50 bucks anyway
as for the project Mu calipers...shit i just checked the price on that...but g'damn!! i do, however, see ur point about it...but i'm thinking i might return them (Still on back order) and just do the 300zx upgrade...maybe that way i can actually buy a car for all this stuff

A merkur, 2.3 pinto engine with a nice little t3 on it... same engine that the SVO, turbocoupe came with, "turbofords"... Would have been a huge success since the cars of the same year with the big 5.0 were a few 10ths of a second slower in the 1/4 and the SVO handled alot better... but ford doesnt understand marketing...
