im sure the sr20 has been done somewhere
you can put any motor in any chassis, keep in mind that a chassis is only a metal frame to support the motor/occupants. strip it down and take out all the wiring and it's like having a universal shell that needs to be modded for whatever motor you want to put into it. the problem is probably less of getting the motor in then getting it to run, because you'd need to rewire the entire car.

and if the person asking the question is wondering if the tranny will be a problem im guessing re-wiring an entire car isn't quite an easy task.
