SR20 in a Civic?

Odd idea, I know. But what do you think it would take to drop a SR20DET into 96 Civic? Would the tranny be a problem?

Well if you put a RWD SR into a civic then yes the tranny would be a problem. However you would need the dimesions of the engine bay/motorset(FWD SR) to see if it would fit(sure it would). I do believe the crazy ass taiwanesey people do swaps like this all the time. Way more costly than its worth IMO, but an idea ive thought of too.

Like buying an RB20, just to say you have an RB. The wow factor.

I suppose, but if you want to get a wow factor, put a Rotary in a civic.
