agree'd your going to come across your KA lovers and your SR lovers. If this rebult KA is what you have then go with that, blow it up, then do whatever you want next. If you want an SR, drop all the money it gonna cost to run right and Im not talking pistons, rods all that hoopla. im talking basic shit. "Why do things a second time when u could have done it right the first time."

If you have to ask this question, you shouldn't own a boosted car. Try researching and not being a fucking retard.

by time you fully build your ka and turbo it and get engine manegment, you could have got a nice latemodel sr swap for that same money and lots of boltons and been done with it and never had to touch the inside of the moter.
some NA SR's make over 200WHP from the factory and i dont believe their are any stock internal NA KAs makeing over 200whp.

yea price. not just getting the engine, but the driveshaft, and depending on the motor, transmission issues

KA24:

220+ HP boosted and very reliable

Up to 300hp on the same bolt ons you would do on a SR20 without having to do any internal work and paying for the swap.

Can handle 15psi of boost safety on stock internals.
straight out of the cage, your facts are pretty much flipped.
sr's can ussually handle 400 rwhp on stock internals reliably
ka's can handle maybe 9 lbs of boost
ka has more potential but will cost you more if you want your numbers up there. the price on an sr swap will equal the price on moderately boosting the ka, exept sr can handle more boost, is lighter, and, it looks sexy.
like everyone else said, do what you want, i personally chose to go sr.
