Sport light blinks in an accord

Default Sport light blinks in an accord

i have a 91 accord auto with the sport shifter in it, but the passed 2 weeks somtimes the sport light come on and blinks after u take off and go's from 1st to 4th and dont have any power, u have to cut the car off to reset it it dose not do it all the time

anyone know what it might be, its drivin me nuts

The tcm (transmission control module) is going bad , thats why it goes into limp mode and shifts like that.

i had the same thing going on with my accord that you do now. it ended up being my alternater.

see i just replaced it 3 days ago, ima hitt up the junk yard tomorrow and see if i can fix it

also would the transmission control module make it seem like the tranny is slipping? it only will do this somtimes

If it's the trans ecu, you need to get one from the same year and trim level...

yeah its 91 only and EX only, i went to the junk yard here in ronaoke and noone had any
