Default speed sensor question jdm b16
just wondering what im going to have to look for any help is appreciated i just put a cable jdm b16 (s1) trans in my hatch (94 eg) it has a hydro to cable conversion ( its how i got it dont ask) and i need a speed sensor that will work with a cable trans but also have the electric plug in. lmk thanks!

not positive but im pretty sure you can just swap the sensor with a electronic one from any hydro b series trans

He is right. Find one from a hydro b series tranny and your set.

not exactly right i had a ls hydro speed sensor that didnt work wouldnt fit into the trans

sounds like you didnt get the cable speedo drive out all the way or it may have broken inside the tranny. cause it should slide right in after the stock one comes out

it came all the way out just wont go in to the trans

hmmm.. you try twisting is some as you put it in? maybe the gears aren't lined up? did you compare the teeth between the 2 of them?
