b16 speed sensor

Default b16 speed sensor

is the speed sensor on a b16 tranny different then an ls tranny. i put a b16 tranny on my integra and used the ls tranny sensor and it is way off.

the gears in the tranny are different of course but i dont know about the sensor itself. Im thinking they're the same though, i think all sensors are inter-changeable. Will one factor that must be met for vtec to work is speed, i think its like 5 or 15mph so it will have to be above that.

They are interchangeable so long as they are both MT.

If i remember right D series and B series are all the same as long as you match the OBD

its a cable speedo, the tranny is a cable b16 im not sure if its obdo or obd1
