Default Spark Plug Gurus NEEDED!

Can you guys help me read my plugs. Ive seen what there supposed to look like and these are nowhere near it. These plugs are with 4,500 miles. Thank you in advanced sorry for the cell phone pics.

they look red, if they are.....stop putting octane booster in your car

Yes they are redish, for the first 3000 miles they were clean, looked like new, but then I got my vtec to work and around 4500 miles my check engine light came on for the knock sensor. So I looked at my plugs and they were red. So I changed them, I figured I am running crazy lean. Just was not sure.

i've never seen a set of plugs turn red from running lean. It was always from people putting octane booster in their car that would do it.

A rust color on spark plugs is usually caused by MMT. Its usually found in octane boosters, but on rare occasions gas stations add it.

If you did use a fuel additive that's what caused it and there's nothing to worry about.
