Re: Spark Plug Gurus NEEDED!
Yes they are redish, for the first 3000 miles they were clean, looked like new, but then I got my vtec to work and around 4500 miles my check engine light came on for the knock sensor. So I looked at my plugs and they were red. So I changed them, I figured I am running crazy lean. Just was not sure.

Re: Spark Plug Gurus NEEDED!
A rust color on spark plugs is usually caused by MMT. Its usually found in octane boosters, but on rare occasions gas stations add it.
If you did use a fuel additive that's what caused it and there's nothing to worry about.
