smoke question
i gotta frankenstien motor that has been rebuilt, but when i get on it, a puff of blue smoke comes out between 5500 and 6000 rpms could the rings all ready be going bad? less than 80,000 on the motor? not alot of smoke but just 1 little puff what could this be?
Actually, now that I think about it, I'm calling bullshit.
Honda engines are good for almost 400k miles before they start smoking. You're hallucenating. Either you imagining the smoke, or someone put a domestic engine in your car.

80K on a honda motor isn't that much at all...If its only doing it then, higher RPMS, I would think that maybe the rings are gone or head gasket possibly. Best of luck w/ it.
