I searched from honda_tech.... it's not too hard to make 180-190hps out of the GSR but freaking hard going from 200hps and up....

The reason for that is straightforward It's not that hard to free up some power from the conservative stock tuning, and a little more efficiency from the not quite ideal stock manifold. But after that you're fishing for volumetric efficiency improvements from an already well optimized engine. Thats why the dollar per HP starts going up like crazy over 200HP..

If you want cheap power gains, get a domestic engine; there's plenty of room for improvement there..

Hes also running retarded times for a stock Si other than the tune and intake manifold.

Anyways.

Get whatever tuning software your tuner supports. And choose someone that tunes great.
