i will be putting a skunk 2 intake manni on my gsr soon with a hondata intake gasket, with it being a thicker gasket i believe im going to have to have longer taller studs so i can still get the nuts on them to tighten it down, anyone know the size length pitch all that of what i need?

thanks, i went to the fastener shop where i live and bought the studs and the washers and nuts, but the studs were to big to go through the holes on the intake manifold, i was thinking about drilling them out so they fit but i might order that kit first see what that does if they are skinnier and fit

If the studs don't fit through the holes in the manifold, you probably got the wrong studs.

You dont need longer studs? Unless gsr heads are just that shitty.

ive always gotten away with backing the studs out of the head a very small amount(a thread or 2, just enuff to get threads all the way through the nut). Ive never had them that far off from working, might have just been good luck. either way, it sounds like you picked up the wrong studs.
