I NEED HELP!!!!! civic intake manifold!
me and my friend took my stock dx intake manifold out and put an ex manifold on , the car , boggs up and down, i dont know wat to do , how can i fix it? if u can help me out , please post, or if u can help me fix it im willin to pay u . i need help asap! sumone help me out pleassssssssee

which throttle body did you use?

i put the dx throttle body back on and its doin the same thing except when i plug in all of the sensors it tachs up to 6 grand and then it either stops or keeps goin , but i turn it off when it goes past 6, !!! HELP ME!!

I believe you had the map and tps backwards when it jumped to 6grand, the bogging up and down sounds like a vacuum leak. Spray down the intake manifold and look for leaks. I may be wrong about which sensors are backwards it's been months since I've done one, but it"s the two sensors that have the same style plug.
Thought of something else, if you have the intake manifold off of a manual did you plug the holes you don't need. I know one of them is the cruise port on the far right of the manifold facing the car from the front. It's hard to remember all this stuff without looking at the car!!

Maybe but if he has both manifold's he should have a spare to try, besides that he's not throwing a code 14.
Even so you could still pull your iac apart and clean it with carb cleaner.
