shifter wont go into gear
Im driving home and come to a light, so i put it in neutral. when it turns green, i try putting it in 1st gear but it wont go, 2nd either. so out of desperation, i jam it in there and it goes. i drive back home thinking its low trans fluid. I check and its empty. so i add some more. and it worked fine.
later that day i had to make the trip to Tech. about 4 hours into the trip i stop at a rest stop, piss, and try to leave. i put it in reverse and GRINDDDDDD. I back up, and tried putting it in 1st and it wont go again. I had difficulty shifting through all gears all the way back to school. Anyone know what the problem might be?
