ej, i had the seibon MG hood. which has a lot vents. and yes rain goes right through it. not really a big deal while your driving though. of course the authentic hoods such as the mugen, channels all the rain elsewhere. aj-racing makes rain guards for replica hoods that attach underneath the vents to prevent rain entering the engine bay but there a lil pricey. you'll be ok though.

 

Rain water really isn't a problem, unless you're worried about water spots on your highly detailed engine.

 

...or your shitty Vortech tensioner literally corroding and breaking off because of rain water.

Well let me rephrase that. If you have properly designed and properly manufactured parts, rain water isn't a problem. Sounds like Vortech doesn't fit nicely into that category..
