S15 Motor & S14 Tranny

S15 Motor & S14 Tranny
Can a S15 motor work with an S14 tranny? I was reading on a site that it will not work but then I was told it will work. Does anybody have proof that it will work or has anybody ever done it before? Does custom modification need to be done? If so in what detail? Thanks.

try www.freshalloy.com forms nextime, just search and you will find anything
yes, you just need to buy an s14 flywheel,clutch drive shaft. ot you could just buy my s15 tranny set up.
do you have an s15sr20?
ps. i would know, i have one.

But I dont have on at the moment. I was wondering because I was reading that S15 trannys break after a certain high amount of HP. If its going to break I want an S14 tranny because it is stronger than S15 one. How much power are you putting down and what tranny are you using now?

the s15 tranny is good till about 400hp.......about the same as all of the others...wich are the same as the ka tranny other than the bellhousing
the blitz track s15 is well over 500hp on a stock tranny
