RPM gauge is going crazy!! What do I do??

Default RPM gauge is going crazy!! What do I do??

Yea I got an 95 Integra and everytime I start it the rpm gauge goes up and down and this happens when it is warmed up also. What could this be and what could I do about it? Thanks fellas.

It sound like you idle air control valve to me. I had a civic that would do that as well.

my car does that to, it also does it when comming to a stop but i just dont pay any attention to it

is the idle actually irratic or just the cluster? could be a stuck open/bad iacv if the idles irratic

idle air control valve, maybe, happened to me or bad wires or loose connection

Usually, cleaning the IACV can solve the problem, if thats what it is.

you gotta answer the question first... is the engine revving or just the gauge moving?

the IACV is right behind your intake manifold on your teg. has three bolts. unbolt them... pull it off, and spray some carburator cleaner in there... you will see all the black junk coming out. put it back on and you should be good. check out team-integra for pics and a better description
