Default roaring rear end

i have a 2000 mustang gt that i recently put a brand new engine in after blowing it up. Once i got it back i begin to here a roaring noise coming from the rear end. i replace the axles bearings and looked through everything and the whole rear end look fine. My gears are stock so they have never been touched. Could some tell me what the problem is and how much it will cost to fix it.

Yea deffinatley check the fluid level. You might have a problem building up if you're low.

But what did the old fluid look like. If it was ass then you could have already started a rear end problem that new fluid won't just fix.

How'd you blow the motor up? Was it hydrolocked? Because if you went through water you could have sucked water in the rear.
