reverse light problem

Default reverse light problem

i got a 91 civic hatch.. manual tranny.. and the reverse lights stay on all the time.. it goes out for a second right before i shift it in reverse then comes back on.. but thru all gears the reverse lights are on.. its pretty irritating.. anyone know how to fix it?

Check the wiring in your tail lights to see where the reverse bulbs are getting power from. Maybe they're wired into your accessory circuit or some sh1t. When did you notice this happening?

cut the wires and take out the sockets - itll pass va state inspection

well ive taken the bulbs out till i could figure it out.. but i still want it to work right.. hopefully someone who has had this problem will read this thread

sounds like they are grounding against something. look for loose or stripped wires.

bump, thanks for all info.. lights still stay on all the fucking time. someone please help me to fix this! who ever tells me something that it might be, and it turns out to be what you said it might me.. ill give you 20 bucks.
