Default rear tire trouble..

okay so a friend and I were trying to take the wheels off his Acura RSX...and we managed to get the front two wheels off with (generally) no trouble at all...

however when we went to undo his rear wheels...
they wouldn't budge.
at all.

after unscrewing and taking off all the lugs and wheel locks they still felt like they were stuck on there...

any ideas what was going on?
suggestions for getting them off?

thanks for reading,

Rust and heat....put some old workboots on and kick the shite out of the tires...it's a good stress reliever too...
