I did the rear disc conversion on my 95 cx useing the 93 si rear disks I took the whole trailing arms off and swapped the whole thing out even the e-brake it was easy but it wasnt a huge difference you also need to switch to the si/ex brake master cylinder and front larger brakes off the ex/si Which I havent done yet. Not 100% but Im pretty sure there is a size differece on the front si and front cx brakes. Everything bolts right up. Good luck I picked mine up for $65 at u-wrench it .I was at the right place at the right time they go for usually over $200 .

brake master cylinder/proportioning valve(sp)/front brakes(disc & caliper & caliper bracket)/rear brake conversion for it to work like stock.

yes, it would stop the car better since disc brakes are better then drums anyday. and in my oppinion my 90 hbk stopped better once i did the swap. plus it helps when you left foot brake during aggressive umm... driving
