YOUR CAR IS A 2000 MODEL?

really easy to do actually. just put the vtec head on and either get the correct ecm and wire up the pressure switch and vtec selonoid correctly or just go the ghetto route and use some sort of switch to activate the vtec. msd make an rpm activated switch that would work. but like i said this is ghetto! i would use the correct ecm and that way you get the corresponding fuel and timing maps.

you may want to get the y8 intake manifold at the same time to go with it. the dx engine have to use an automatic y8 intake to get the aic to work correctly. i have a d16y8 ecm (2000 model) i even have the correct intake manfold also but zexpowered4dr says that he wants it???

i have done a few of these. let me know if you need any help.

too many problem arise when you use a 92-95 vtec head(d16z6)

way easier to use a d16y8 head!
