Default prelude short

OK i got problems. I drove my car over to my friends house ran fine i went to get back in the car and it wouldnt start it turns out to be the ECU fuse so i reaplaced it and it blew again. I tore the dash apart today looking for a short but no luck so i went outside and unplugged the harness going to the engine and no short but as soon as i plug the harness back in it shorts again. I went through the engine bay and cant find anything that could be causing this ...... Does anyone have any ideas ?

Find a wiring diagram for your vehicle and follow the circuits that are potential problems, there is obviously something pulling too many amps either in the ecu or through the ECU.
