I spun a bearing last night in my b16 and i found a gsr shortblock on here.Im running a gen1 b16 and the head should be a direct bolt on no ls/vtec kit correct?also i believe i need b16/gsr head gasket,gsr head bolts and gsr timing belt correct? I will be using my b16 pistons to retain compression

correct. and if you wanna raise your compression a little bit more, try and find an ls crank to put in with the gsr short block and still use the b16 pistons.
