well basically you want the whole rim polish or sliver again right....so get the paint stripper in a can at advanced auto...for like 4 bucks a can... make sure it's the extra strength kind......spray on and watch it wrinkle...get a rubber scarper and scarpe the wrinkle part off and wash it out with water and repeat it until your done....if you have lots of inners spoke like the rh c2's it's goin to be pain in the ass to strip it all....but i'm just repowdercoating mines again....oh yea make sure you tape off where you don't want it on....good luck hope that help....

but really your better off repowdercoatin it a dirfferent color or leave them alone.......but it's all about patience......

If you are still trying to do it- Its not that bad. You use stuff call "aircraft remover" this takes it to a bare metal.

Then the bitch part- polishing! I'd use a 1200 grit compound and then mother's metal polish.

I did this when i was going to polish a valve cover, i am lazy though! i got about 30% done polishing and said fuck that, and had smoke

eventhough this thread is back from the dead...I polish wheels, it's on a case by case basis depending on what you want. I am way, way cheaper than alot of the others is this area, I got quoted 380 a center for my 17's so I decided to start polishing for myself and others...hit me up on IM if you're interested in some quality polishing work.
