overheating help
it really sounds like thermostat.. i know that you just replaced it but are you sure you didn't install it backwards? Try running the car w/ no thermostat... see if it still overheats... if it still overheats then it definatly isn't the thermostat....but... don't run the car w/ no thermostat all the time... just use this method for a test to see if the thermostat is bad/installed incorrectly...

what makes you think it is the water pump. i know i put the thermostat in correctly. I will try the no therostat after i replace the head gasket tomorrow.
I ain't trying to attack anyone. Most definitely the will over heat without a thermostat. Even with a locked up themostat. Cmon now, to me that don't wise to use the car as a ginea pig when there are much better approaches to do.
Have you tried to pressure test the radiator itself, before buying a new radiator?
I hope you didn't throw out the old thermostat, Try check the thermostat by the following materials:
1.small to medium sized pot
2.probing thermometer for food.
3. burner or stove.
4.water.
place old thermostat submerged in waterbring to atleast 200degrees and higher farenheit
watch for the wax pallet to open. Using the specs from the manual when it is supposed to open. Do the same for the new thermostat.
Waterpump are known to seize up too, they only cost 60.00some and change from honda, Amzingly nobody has mentioned about the thermoswitch nor the radiator fan itself, Radiator fan switch fuse, has all those been checked?
