My brother and I have been building a 1989 CRX Si for a little over a year and half now.

We just now collected the parts we needed to pull the old single came out (230k on the odometer) and stick in her new heart.

My brother buys the parts and I do the legistics. But over all, its his car.


Engine
96 gsr head
-Skunk2 Stage 1 cam shafts
-Skunk2 Adj cam gears
-ITR Valve Train
-Skunk2 Pro Series Intake Manifold
-Hondata Intake Manifold Gasket
-Precision 310 Injectors
-AEM Hi-Flow Feul Rail
-AEM Adj. FPR
-0BD0 to OBD1 Conversion harness
-96 gsr throttle body
-96 LS throttle spindle lever thingy
-ITR throttle cable and bracket
-Home made intake w/ K/N cylinder air filter
-Autometer FPG
-New oem Fuel filter
-Walburo 255 Fuel Pump

96 GSR block
-96 spec. ITR pistons
-Magnetic drain plug
-OEM CTR Crank Pully
-OEM Honda Oil filter

01 ITR Transmission
-4.10 final drive
-Toda Light weight fly wheel
-Competition Stage 4 (6 puck clutch)
-B&M dual bend Short shifter

The car was tuned on a Chipped p28 ECU with chrome, down at Dyno Inc in Virginia Beach By Mj (MAtt)

200whp/ 143pft before correction.
183whp/ 126pft after correction.

Ive only seen first and second all the way thru on dry pavement.

We are waiting on a Cat thats 2.5/2.5 so we can hook the exhaust system back up.

Thats whats up dude!

Have you told walburo to send you a couple free fuel pumps?

Man MJ found DIRT in our injectors. One was completly clogged to the point that it was causing the cylinder to miss fire!

now go dyno it on a dynojet so you have some numbers thaat can be compared to everyone elses.

Once the Cat comes it and the exhaust goes back on we plan to head over to All Aspects to compare numbers.

no you just do not have that agressive of a cam profile that you are changing to when VTEC engages.

To be honest i was un-aware of that.

What i do know is that the our first dyno pull look just like Tecnics. Big ass dip in the middle of the graph when vtec engaged.

The time was spent on the tune to even out the power distrobution so we dont have that afr spike.
