open downpipe. need help asap!
whats better for a turbo car?
right now it has a 3in straight pipe exhaust with a cat and resonator. ive had a few people tell me ill get better power if disconnect it and just run a open downpipe, then others tell if with it open i could spin a bearing or throw a rod. can anyone help? which is better? |
Re: open downpipe. need help asap!
depends on how you're tuned, really. some people have different opinions on the matter.
of course, you should probably post the setup. i'm assuming it's a terrible looking honda that copies someone else's style. but badly. |

A smaller turbo is actually more efficient with a little back preasure. Edit: Running an open DP is not going to cause you to throw a rod, or spin a bearing. |

you have to make money in order to "dump" money into it. although "dump" is a relative term.
