open downpipe. need help asap!

whats better for a turbo car?

right now it has a 3in straight pipe exhaust with a cat and resonator.

ive had a few people tell me ill get better power if disconnect it and just run a open downpipe, then others tell if with it open i could spin a bearing or throw a rod.

can anyone help?

which is better?

depends on how you're tuned, really. some people have different opinions on the matter.
of course, you should probably post the setup. i'm assuming it's a terrible looking honda that copies someone else's style. but badly.

OP's a douche...or atleast he was. Maybe he's grown up?

It depends on how you're tuned and turbo size. A smaller turbo is actually more efficient with a little back preasure.

Edit: Running an open DP is not going to cause you to throw a rod, or spin a bearing.

you have to make money in order to "dump" money into it. although "dump" is a relative term.
