I was wondering if anybody has ever put oil squirters in a LS block??i heard it can be done...but just wondering if it has been done.....THANKS

i thought that was what most of the ls/vtec guys did, but im not really sure,not to knowledgeable about oil squirters since my motor doesnt have them.......

There is a good bit of machining involved to do it, if u got forged internals don't worry about it.

it would be a very good idea to get them put in.....you need that lubrication at the higher rpm range you'll be in....

If your running forged pistions they are not nessiacary if your running cast stuff they are a great idea but not nessicary for forged stuff man. If your building it don't worry about it.

I agree...many top engine buiders remove the oil squirters and plug them with allen plugs. Forged pistons do not expand at the same rate (or as much) as the stock pistons...therefore you do NOT need the squirters. The purpose of the squiters was not so much for lubricating, but to cool the underside of the stock piston.

For all practical purposes, if you have a vtec block with the squiters installed, leave them there.

I would not go through the trouble of installing them on an LS block.
