Default Oil Pump Question

I currently have a b16a and Im prepping for boost. I plan on redoing the timing belt, tensioner, water pump and would also like to do the oil pump.

My question is there a difference between a b16 oil pump, gsr, or type r oil pump. I want to say I read something somewhere about the type r being different but cant remember. Are they all interchangable? What about the water pump?

Also for ordering OEM parts, does anyone know any place cheaper than Majestic Honda?

Thanks In Advance,
-E.Honda

www.acuraautomotiveparts.org
www.hondaautomotiveparts.com

look them up in google I might have the .com or .org in the wrong line.

From my looking the part numbers are the same. There is no such thing as a vtec oil pump.

+1
When I first looked this up about 8 months ago I looked up ls's, gsr's, b16's and type r part #'s. And the type r uses #1, which also goes on any B series 96+.
From what I found there are only 3 diff. oil pumps
1.OBD2
2.OBD1 del sol
3. pre 95

Also the water pumps are the same(vtec only)

And no I think that is the cheapest place I have ever seen. Hell I work at Honda and don't even get it that cheap.

It really doesn't matter they are all the same. Honda just makes little changes(ex. crank sensor) to things and gives it a new part #. Just when you order it its going to come with a new crank seal already installed, you just need to get another o-ring(91308-PK1-003) and pick-up gasket(15221-PW0-S01).
