do obd2 injectors use a resistor box, just wondering because i bought an obd2 manifold with injectors n i am trying to do an mpfi swap on my 91 hatch

 

no im pretty sure only obd0 uses a resistor box i would search on honda-tech.com and see what your gonna have to do my guess would be to use that mainifold but get 4 obd0 injectors (you need 4mpfi injestors because mpfi injectors are diff then dpfi) and still use the resistor box then wire it up for mpfi.

only reason for the resistor box on obd0 cars is because the obd0 injectors have low ohms and will hurt the computer they try to use more current then your computer will allow and to compensate for it you use resistor boxes which bring the ohms up to a safe level

 

even if i dont need a resistor box for the obd2 injectors can i still use one or should it be best if i dont use one. what will happen i do need to use one but dont and start it up and drive it?

 

dude get 4 obd0 mpfi injectors and call it a day shit will not work with obd2 injectors
