so if you opt to spray your intercooler externally you are going to use nitrous? how exactly is filling your engine compartment with an oxidizer safe?

 

It's not. Only if I have to. I said would rather do that and take the chances with N2O than CO2. I didnt say "I will use N2O" for that purpose. There are other options to cool compressed air like the use of air-to-water system.... but I dont have the luxury nor the HP on motor that will require that much process.

I'm not trying to sell my opinion and convince people on what to do to their cars based on my opinion. Do what you must. You're paying for it, not me.

 

Well I agree with you about that - it's probably not worth the money and not nearly effective as they advertise. You'll never see a CO2 setup on any car I own, but if it works for someone else more power to you.

 

haha....I was going to get one of these IC sprayers for More Impatient...until he researched it a little bit and found the gains you get aren't worth the money....

what kind of car do you plan on putting thi nitrous system on?
if you are to run a dry kit then your car must have a return line to the fuel tank. if it does not then you have whats called a dead end fuel system. in this case you will have to use a wet kit.

i have worked with alot of nitrous kits. pm me if you need any more info

well duh, if he gets thoes in combination with the 2f2f fire extinguisher, the 3a racing muffler (welded and tipless of course) the direct catalytic injection n2o kit, the carbon head bolts, the floor pan subframe supports and appx. 12sq feet of vinyl he'll easily be in the 10's.

well maybe on honda i would suck it up since the air filter is practiaclly bolted to the turbo... but on most turbo cars factory the intake is not very close to the ic....

even if i did suck in co2 theirs so much air distrubence in the enigne comparment it wouldnt matter man...

go learn some information on air distrubence of cars before u say it will suck it up in the intake...

 

Drop the sarcasm. Read my post correctly. I did not say it will suck it up period. I said possibly or chance to get sucked in into the intake system.

theirs? distrubence? You mean "there's so much disturbance"? Disturbance or turbulence will not cancel out the presence of CO2. It is ideal to have the cleanest and purest O2 to burn for efficiency..... do you not agree? I have nothing else to say.
