Default Noise from front of car.......

Hearing a wierd noise sounds like it may be comming from right side. The brake pads were worn and replaced them noise hasn't gone away. It makes a clicking noise when not accelerating but when i press the gas its more of a humming whine noise. I have an ITR LSD, maybe that has gone bad? I was also considering changing the wheel bearings but the noise isn't the same when coasting and accelerating. Any suggestions???

wont the bearing make that noise constantly verses different noises when coasting or accelerating?

bearings make noise based on friction and how bad off the bearing is.. so it could be the bearing... also might be the CV joint. as the cv boot loses lubricant the joint starts to click (usually during turning) ive never heard a bearing click... so i would guess you have two problems.

wheel bearing and cv joint. could be wrong though.

edit: oh also, the click might be a loose caliper. is it a click or a clunk?

its more of a click while coasting and like a rough whine kind of like a when a wheel bearing goes bad, but at coast it is a constant click click click then when i hit the gas it whines. Every bearing ive done was a rough whine all the time so im not 100% do bad bearings if they have just started to go make that noise all the time? Ill probably go ahead and replace the boots and re-greese them and both bearings because after all it is a 96 so im sure it wouldnt hurt, however money is pretty tight so i would like to know the most logical place to start. I know its not a loose caliper because a just did a brake job today and everything is fine.
